    Hi everyone,

Realistically, the Attack will not be released until Euroworks has built, tested and given their approval on the car. The only way to obtain K1's car in the U.S. is through Euroworks, LTD. As of right now, Euroworks is waiting for a car to build and test. Once this is done, and it is tested and approved, only then will you be able to get a realistic time frame on the Attack. I am as excited as everyone else is about the Attack, and I wish I had better news and more information, but Euroworks, LTD. decides the time and date of release to the U.S.

Most of the users here that have already put their downpayment to K-1, do live in the United States. Of course it is my belief they put a downpayment towards the kit and not the turnkey. You can purchase a kit car (in kit form, not fully assembled) from all over the world, without requiring a local distributor or importer, all you incur are the outrageous shipping charges. One of the only places I've seen a Ford GT-40 kit sold, is sold out of Australia, and for the others I have seen, some other foreign country, but yet the GT-40 replicas exist in the US.

Euroworks is not required unless you want to buy the car already assembled.
So what's going in my Attack?
    "Project Blitzkrieg"
    Top Secret nowadays

In the meantime: 2003 Mazda 6S, debadged, demolded, Hurst T-handle shifter, MSD Stacker-8 Ignition, 160F t-stat, throttle body grounded and coolant bypassed, blackened headlights, Boston Acoustic ProSeries 6.5 component speakers. 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT, 77,000 original miles, hole in the V6 block to be remedied with a built 350 V8 and GM 462 double-hump heads.

As far as I know Euroworks is the only way to get an Attack kit form or turnkey as well as EVOI and EVOII. You can give a deposit but the kit still comes from Euroworks They are the distributofor K1 kits or turnkey. K1 tells you the samething on there site.

Hi, welcome to the site. I don't really want to sound negative but you are slightly misinformed. In fact most of us (including me) have ordered a kit and we live in the US. If you want to buy from Euro-Works Ltd. then yes, you have to wait for them to build a car themselves. You are more than welcome to order directly through K1 at this time. There is more security buying through Euro-Works because you are paying your deposit into an escrow account and make final payment once the car kit is shipped. Also the Euro-works turnkeys will be titled, whereas, since mine is a kit I have to get the title myself. However, after doing my homework about K1, I felt very comfortable doiing business directly with them. Are you seriously considering an Attack purchase?

Also just wanted to add that I have gone over these issues with Alan from Euro-Works. The first kits are in fact bypassing Euro-Works and going straigh to customers until they have built and tested a kit of their own. Euro-Works is a reputable business that is keeping the customers interests ahead of sales.

I have not had a chance to update my FAQ on the subject yet.

Anyway, glad to have you on the board.

Maybe your right about my info I will check into with K-1 and Euroworks. Like I said that was the last information I had been given. I'am currently a builder and reseller of there EVOII.I've waiting for info on the Attack for a while. The way I understood it these cars would not be available to us untill Euroworks approved them. Your info might be right though.

OK, fair enough. Just in case, if you find out something that contradicts my information, I really want to know what you find out. Thanks!

The downpayment was $5000, paid directly to K1. I think my bank charged me something like $30 to do the bank transfer also.

I'm not sure excatly how much shipping is. I was part of a pre-order group that received free shipping. Maybe one of the people that have ordered recently has an estimate on that.

I believe my kit should be shipped in December,2002 or January,2003. I think there are many orders ahead of mine so I wouldn't be suprised if it showed up even later. I'm not sure how long it will take for shipping to my location.

I would expect shipping to be about a grand or two, to ship to a direct port (where the big boats go), then whatever it cost to get it to you.
